We know the importance of communication at R&M. When we are taking on a new project we communicate at critical stages – this way you are never left wondering.
At the beginning stage of your project we start with a project meeting internally. We discuss all the important characteristics for your project that you discussed with your Salesperson, as well as initial tooling and production considerations
Depending on the complexity of the parts tooling design and building can take anywhere from a few hours to a few months. We work with our customers to make sure that the tooling that is selected for a project is properly fitted for the scope of the project itself. If prototyping is required we can make prototype parts and tools using a variety of tools
After the tooling is created we schedule your job and run the sample run. At this time, we decide if there are any modifications required to the tooling design or part to get the desired result.
The samples we sent were approved and now we are ready to make the first production run. This is a really exciting time for everyone. This is where we put all that Lean and Six Sigma training to the test. If there is anything we can do to make a job more efficient we are looking for it now.
This is where we are looking for some constructive criticism on where we may need to improve on anything for the next order. Our goal is to service our customers the best we can, and this is how we evaluate that service.
